 Oxley game, 1st December 2019

 Only the 7 players for what could be described as the desert classic. 
Poor Oxley is really in a bad state due to the lack of rain, 
fingers crossed they got some later on in the afternoon.

We all had to play the same conditions, so no great hardship for us,
but we all need to get a good downpour soon or every garden, 
playing field and golf course will be looking as grim soon enough, 
so there is a wish for you Santa if you don’t mind please.

Next year the club will be going a little less formal 
(more like a bunch of mates arranging a game amongst themselves)
so not sure at present when the next one is going to be.

For now this years winner of the GUSGC cup for 2019 is - 
Paul Lockwood-Lee.

Mens Long drive 17th – David Giels

Ladies Long drive 17th – Karen Greedy

1st place on 43 points – Paul Lockwood-Lee

2nd place on 42 points – Dave Coster

3rd place on 36 points – Ken Greedy

Equal 3rd but missed out on countback - Karen Greedy
