McLeod game 1^st July 2018

11 players took to the McLeod course, which was a good turnout thanks in no small part to Phil for persuading 3 friends along plus Troy and Paul W’s welcome return to the fold, great to see them all.

It may have been just me but I felt the course was playing fine but the putting surfaces weren’t up to their usual standard, never mind though as the scoring range for us all was between 31 and 36 with places being sorted out by the finest of margins, so well done to everyone for a good competition.

Mens Long drive 9^th – Ian Smith

Ladies Long drive 9^th – Karen Greedy

1^st place on 36 points – Karen Greedy

2^nd place on 36 points – Paul Wellington

3^rd place on 35 points – Dave Coster

Next game is to be the special Ambrose game for the shield – at St Lucia on the 12^th of August, we haven’t to my knowledge played there for donkey’s years (if at all) so it should be an interesting outing.
