Wantima game June 2019

Only a small group of six made it to the northern leg this year, the weather was near perfect, which I must make a point of as I’m always bagging the north for the propensity to rain on our parade each year.

Most of us made a reasonable fist of the round with fast but very good greens making the putting difficult but fair for all.

Karen had a go but after getting her handicap reduced for the monster score last month and having the two shot penalty for that win she was sadly out of the running this time. (Tip, always try to win on or about 36 pts, then the big bad handicapper can’t get to you, hehe)

2^nd place on 35 points – Phil Dawson

3^rd place on 34 points – Ian Smith
