Windaroo Golf 11^th February 2018

The February game is proving to be a killer in the weather stakes, again we were struck with almost unbearable heat at Windaroo for the second year running, which meant that the 8 brave souls who did make it to the course are as mentioned very brave or as I suspect stark raving mad.

Nobody had a decent 18, but considering the conditions, not only the weather but also the pin placements, the rough which is a huge defence for this course, plus the length of some of the par fives and the horrible water carry par threes it’s frankly a miracle we got any points at all.

Mens Long drive 12^th – Ken Greedy

Ladies Long drive 12^th – not taken

1^st place on 33 points – Ken Greedy (9 on the first nine & 24 on the second nine, crazy days golf)

2^nd place on 32 points – Jason Heffernan  

3^rd place on 31 points – Paul Lockwood-Lee

Next game is at Carbrook on the 11^th of March at 7.00am tee off.
