Gailes game 25^th May 2014.

 

18 Players on a beautiful day at Gailes, a little cool in for the first couple of holes but after that almost perfect.

The nearest the pin holes are always tricky on this course & this proved to be the case again this year with nobody hitting either of the two greens allocated (oh well saves a couple of balls for the club)

 

I knew Karen was going well on the front nine when I glanced at her card, but George came home with a wet sail to steal second place due to a better 10 thru 18 score (as they both had only one hole missing a stableford point)

 

I’m happy to say I had a good game also & took the top spot. It may be difficult to emulate this again for a while after the recuperating handicapper has done his magic, but I’ll take it whilst I can.
