With greens that did no one any favours (apart from the ducks) it was a great advert for strong steady golf that took the best spots today, well that is for the first two placegetters anyway the unflappable Howard & the consistently consistent Mr Westover.
However as we all know from how quiet & serene the course was on the front nine, alas when the ground started to shake, the birds flew out of their trees & local mothers started to call their children indoors & put cotton wool in their ears, you knew the wheels had started to fall off on Ken’s game on the homeward bound nine (a great front nine though)
A good mix of players (7) getting their names on the honour roll this month, so well done to all of you.

PS For the Oxley game the intention is to send people in groups according to the league table, however this is not set in concrete, if you wish to play with anyone in particular then let me or Owen know either by email or on the day please?
